Manosh Hardwoods was started in 1993 by Howard Manosh in the town of North Hyde Park, Vermont. Mr. Manosh turned a small circular mill that produced softwood lumber into a modern band mill operation that produced high grade hardwood lumber for the market.

In 1998 Manosh Hardwoods had a fire that was a total loss. With the determination to move forward, Howard Manosh rebuilt in 1999 in Morrisville, Vermont and made changes in the new mill that would be helpful in the future for expansion, constructing a steel framed building of 66,500 square feet that is heated for the comfort of his employees. With the mill in place, they started production in late 2000.

Today, Manosh Hardwoods produces approximately 25,000 bd. ft. of hardwood lumber in an 8 hour shift. The team at Manosh Hardwoods work to make their operation more efficient with the attitude that our customers are number one.
